Following the Government announcement that Councils could (but were not required to) open their playgrounds on 4th July as lockdown measures and restrictions eased, Frant Parish Council undertook a risk assessment of both the playground in Frant and in Bells Yew Green.
Following this, the Council agreed to re-open the playgrounds on 16th July. They were cleaned and inspected beforehand and will be cleaned three times a week for the foreseeable future. Other measures have been introduced – the Council has put up signs advising people to maintain social distancing, to bring hand sanitizers with them to the park, etc. and it has removed adjacent swings.
We hope you enjoy using the playgrounds and the green, particularly during these summer months, and take any personal measures you can to keep you and your friends and family safe.
