Frant Memorial Hall

The village of Frant has been described as one of the most charming and beautiful in East Sussex. Situated just over the border of Kent and only two miles from Tunbridge Wells, it is in the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Frant Village Hall adds to all of this. Located at the top of Frant Village Green it enjoys extensive views to west Sussex and the Ashdown Forest. The pretty village of Frant boasts two Public Houses, The George and The Abergavenny Arms , St Albans Church and several shops. The main road skirts the Village of Frant leaving our High Street a haven of peace and calm.
The Memorial Hall was built in the 1920’s in memory of those who served in the First World War and was rededicated to include those from the Second World War. The building is very attractive, in the Arts and Crafts style, with an immaculate bowling green adjacent to the hall.
The large hall can seat 120 people and is a great venue for children’s and evening parties and weddings. It is used by many of our regular groups. Art, Cookery, Tunbridge Wells Flower Group, Yoga, Dance Classes, Frant film and Bowls clubs and many others. The large stage is used for annual productions produced and performed by Frant Drama Society.
The small hall accommodates Frant Nursery school in the mornings during term time, but is also a favorite for the smaller groups and meetings. It has a bar and a hatch to the fully equipped kitchen, which is easily accessible from both halls. The toilets, including a disabled toilet, are all newly refurbished.
In fact, the whole building has been refurbished and modernised over the last few years, meeting all the requirements of hygiene, health and safety and is now a really attractive and well maintained venue for all our many varying events. It has a special “feel good factor.
